TERMS & CONDITIONS

This Activation is organized and promoted by Qnited Trading Company, with address at Gate No. 3, Street No. 549, Industrial Area, Doha-Qatar, P.O. Box: 7949 (“Organiser”). All participants to this Activation (“Participants”) shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Activation Period

This Activation will run from: 30th October to 30th November 2025

Eligibility

  1. Participants must:
    • be 21 years old and above;
    • be a legal resident of State of Qatar; and
    • not be an employee of the Organiser, or the Organiser’s subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, authorized dealers/distributors, agents, or a family member, or relative (up to the 4th generation) of such employee, in order to be eligible to participate in the Activation.

Entry Steps

  1. A Participant shall perform the following to submit an entry into the Activation:
    • Buy QAR 30.00 worth of any Alicafé or Alitéa products and get a chance to win one Grand Prize of Rolex Oystersteel and Everose Gold 36mm Diamond-Set dial worth QAR92,000 or one of 20 QAR500 Al Meera Gift Vouchers; and
    • Scan the QR CODE provided and upload his/her name, mobile number, Qatar ID number, and proof of purchase in a single receipt (a scanned copy of the official receipt containing the Alicafé product name and purchase amount).
Incomplete, unclear, or inaccurate entries, or entries with invalid or damaged proof of purchases will be automatically disqualified. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the specified terms and conditions without providing any explanation. The organizer shall also not be held responsible for any miscommunication or failure in the receipt of contest entries. The Organiser may monitor any content submitted by the Participant such as, but not limited to, photos, videos, comments, etc. on any social media, internet, and other digital platform or medium relating to the Organiser, Al Meera, the Activation and the Alicafé and Alitéa brand and brand owner (“Material”) and reserves the right to take down any Material if:
  1. it infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
  2. is defamatory;
  3. irrelevant or not linked in any way to the Activation; or
  4. otherwise unlawful under Qatari laws.
[Each participant may submit more than one entry, but each entry must comply with the terms and conditions of participation. However, each participant is only eligible to win ONE prize awarded under the Activation.]

Assignment of Rights

By participating in this Activation, the Participant hereby unconditionally authorizes, grants, assigns and transfers the exclusive, worldwide, perpetual and irrevocable rights (material, moral, copyright), title and interests and other proprietary rights of all and any nature whatsoever in the Material to the Organiser. By virtue of this transfer/assignment of rights, the Organiser shall have the full right and authority, including without limitation to:
  1. Use, broadcast, distribute, publicly present and publish the Material on all websites and social media platform owned and/or operated by The Organiser and other distribution channels of any kind now known or hereafter devised; all communications both external and internal, commercially use and place the same on The Organiser packaging and/or getups, display on the premises of The Organiser, combine the photos with the media, banners, advertisements and publications (including but not limited to newspapers, magazines, billboards, leaflets, posters, websites, banners, truck-backs) relating to any and/or all The Organiser products and brands;
  2. Transfer the intellectual property rights and all other proprietary rights to any third party and/or for use in any and all ways that The Organiser deem fit; and
  3. Participants hereby confirm that he/she has obtained all authorization, clearances and releases from all the persons appearing in the Material.

Data Privacy

Participants will be required to submit their personal details such as name, phone number, email, and addresses during the course of their participation in the Activation. The Organiser will collect personal information in order to conduct the Activation and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to other companies outside the Middle East and third parties, including, but not limited to, the Organiser’s authorized agents, affiliates, advisors and if required, to regulatory authorities. By participating in the Activation, the Participant hereby consents to the use of their personal information in the manner as set out in these Terms and Conditions and waives their rights to initiate any claim against the Organiser for privacy invasion, improper disclosure of personal information or any other related claims.

Selection of Winner

The prize draw for this Activation will be conducted in a legally compliant manner under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Qatar (or other ministries or governmental authorities responsible for the supervision of prize draws of contests in Qatar) (“Ministry”). The Ministry may impose additional conditions and guidelines on the prize draw which shall be adhered to by the Participant. The prize draw date: 2nd December 2025 (10.00 am Qatar Time) The winner(s) will be notified through phone and/or email by the Organiser or its authorized representative. If the Organiser cannot contact the winner(s) for any reason, within 7 days after the announcement of winner/s, the Organiser reserves the right to award the prize to another winner(s). The winner(s) will be required to provide proof of identity in the form reasonably required by the Organiser in order to redeem his/her prize. The Organiser shall not be compelled to award the prize to the winner(s) if he/she cannot provide any proof of identity. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any winner(s) from receipt of any prize and/or require the return of any prizes awarded if the winner(s) is not eligible according to Paragraph 3 above. In such an event, and subject to any legal requirement, the Organiser reserves the right to select a new winner for the prize and/or dispose of the prize in any manner it deems fit, in its sole discretion. Any person attempting to defraud in any way by falsely claiming to be the winner or falsifying any proof of identity will be ineligible for the prize and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, items or entitlements. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any prize for another prize of similar value or to alter the Mechanism of the Activation of the prizes due to any unforeseen circumstances without prior notice. All prizes are non-transferable. In the event that the winner(s) opts not to accept his/her prize or was not able to receive the prize for reasons mentioned in these Terms and Conditions, the relevant prize will be deemed forfeited and the Organiser may, subject to applicable laws, award the prize to another winner(s). The Organiser’s decision regarding the award of the prize and/or in other issues not covered by these Terms and Conditions, shall be final and binding on all Participants, and no queries, challenges or appeals may be made or entertained. Where required by the Organiser, the winner and any person sharing the prize shall be required to complete official release forms prior to the receipt of the relevant prize(s), failing which the Organiser reserves the right to forfeit the prize as it deems fit or as required by law. The winner shall provide all necessary information and carry out all actions as directed by the Organiser to claim his/her prize within sixty (60) days from the prize draw. Any prizes unclaimed by the end of the sixty (60) day period will be deemed forfeited and the winner(s) or any of its heirs and/or representatives, executors and assigns waives any of its rights to any and/or all claims against the Organiser and/or any of its affiliates and representatives. Unclaimed prizes will not be transferable and will be donated to charity or dealt with in other manner as required under Qatari laws.

General Terms

By entering this Activation, Participants warrant that they have read and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If for any reason this Activation is not capable of being carried on as planned, due to without limitation infection by any computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, act of God, war (whether or not declared), political coup or insurrection, rebellion, labour dispute, fire, epidemic, pandemic, health crisis, storm, flood, typhoon, explosion, legal enactment, government directive, order or regulation, any law or regulation having force of law or any other reason or cause beyond the control of the Organiser, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Activation, the Organiser, to the fullest extent permitted by law, reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Activation and to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the Activation and/or the entry process. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer software and/or equipment, failure of any e-mail account or any combination thereof. The Organiser will be entitled at its sole discretion and subject to any applicable law, to cancel, terminate, extend or suspend the Activation or to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time prior to the closing date. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any death or personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of participation in the Activation, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Participant, to the fullest extent permitted by law, hereby releases the Organiser, the Alicafe brand owner and all persons or corporations associated directly or indirectly in any way with the Activation from any and/or all claims, demands and proceedings whatsoever arising out of:
  1. their participation in the Activation;
  2. any breach of these Terms and Conditions;
  3. non-receipt of the prize due to force majeure;
  4. their use of the prize;
  5. non-issuance of visa; and/or
  6. denial of entry into the Qatar.
This release and indemnity extend to and include the Organiser, the owner of the Alicafé brand, and their respective parent companies, related bodies corporate, and their respective directors, officers, agents, contractors, employees and sponsors associated with or which is involved directly or indirectly with the Activation. This release and indemnity continue forever and binds the Participants’ heirs, executors, personal representatives and assigns. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

By participating in this Activation, the Participant submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar for any and all actions or claims in any way related to this Activation and expressly agree that such actions or claims are subject to the laws and regulations of the Qatar.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Participant acknowledges that “Alicafé”, “Alitéa” and “Power Root” along with any aspect of “Alicafé”, “Alitéa” and “Power Root” such as the graphics, images, diagrams, symbols, icons, pictures, product packaging and design rights are intellectual property rights owned by Power Root (M) Sdn Bhd and its affiliates within the Power Root group of companies (“Power Root Group”) and licensed to the Organiser for this Activation. By participating in this Activation, the Participant acknowledges that the Power Root Group is not in any way affiliated to this Activation and agrees to release and discharge the Power Root Group and any of its representatives, officers and agents from any liability to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Participant further indemnifies the Power Root Group for any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense suffered by the Power Root Group arising from his/her participation in the Activation. The Participant shall not infringe or use the “Alicafé” “Alitéa” and “Power Root” in any manner detrimental to the rights of the Power Root Group.
